“We have not even to risk the journey alone; for the heroes of all time have gone before us.”
-Josep, High Protector of Heironeous
Heironeous, the Invincible One is the god of Valor, Chivalry and Bravery. The core beliefs of the Heironean faith are
- Fealty and loyalty to one’s God and King
- Duty to protect goodness and order
- Promotion of these principles through glorious deeds and acts of personal sacrifice
Adherence to Heironean ideals is often frought with tension and dilemmas. When duties demanding loyalty and adherence to the law become separated from duties to promote righteousness, for example, or in morally ambiguous situations, Heironism often leaves the faithful with a difficult or even impossible choice.
