Bio:
* Mother died giving birth. Father slain while defending clan (10 years old). * Took up training as a way to be better prepared than his father was. * At 15, joined clan’s guard. Was considered a difficult cadet. * While on patrol, unit was ambushed. Honorably fought to the death while remaining soldiers fled or died. Accused of provoking ambush by only other survivor. * While in brig waiting for disciplinary council to decide fate, beat up guard and attempted escape. * Discharged from clan military service. * Left city and attempted to earn money as a mercenary or bodyguard. Learned of the sublime way from travelling companion. * Journeyed to <blank> Academy to seek training. After 3 months of academic training and monastic service to the academy, was enrolled into a warblade training division. * Left Academy after 4 years of training. Decided to take to the road and help those in need, kind of a Ronin sell-sword. * Wandered into village near Fenwatch and discovered that a blight had beset the area. Traveled to Fenwatch to offer assistance. * During a rescue mission, was knocked unconscious and affected by Blight. Memory loss occurs, but meets up with party after full physical recovery.
Disposition
Outside of a fight Piruk is pleasant and friendly. Like many dwarves, he’s fond of drink and has developed a reasonable palette for wine and beer. Very loyal to his friends and companions, perhaps due to his military and clan background. Maintains a sense of personal honor and always approaches a social situation with politeness and courtesy as the situation allows.
He used to be very brash, but his training has helped him master those tendencies. Now he’s more inclined to look for a tactical battle and relishes in the challenge. He is very averse to taunting and gloating, especially from his foes. This can cause him to lose his cool and sometimes caues his old tendencies resurface.
