Classification: Tavern

The Chopping Block is located in the Talynbourg Adventurer’s Quarter. The floor of this tavern is covered in a thick carpet of sawdust. Large axes, two-person saws and other logging implements hang from the walls. The tables appear cut from single tree trunks and the shelf behind the bar is mounted on the cross-section of a massive evergreen.

The clientele at the Chopping Block consists mostly of adventurers, off-duty soldiers and officers of the city watch, along with farmers and shepherds from the surrounding countryside. While the tavern is rustic in nature, it is known for its excellent cuts of meat, which are served in the tavern and sold to those wishing to take home an excellent steak.
