You sit down with a group of off-duty city watch guards and buy them a round of drinks. As you attempt to get information out of them, it becomes clear that most of them were drunk to begin with. You get the basic info that there is a war brewing and that the Army has been conscripting additional soldiers, but that most of the action is to the South. As you try to ply them for more details, they become suspicious and you decide to cut things off when one of the men asks if you are planning a dwarfy invasion of his country.
